What a weekend for the Tampa Bay Surge Rec Women’s Ice Hockey Team! The team skated hard and battled their way to an impressive 2nd place finish at the FWHL State Finals in Clearwater, FL.

A special thanks to our incredible coaching staff for their dedication, leadership, and support throughout the season. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Congratulations to all the players for their hard work and teamwork on the ice! We’re so proud of this achievement and can’t wait to come back even stronger next season.

🎉 Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Surge 2 – B Division Champions of the FWHL Ellenton Tournament! 🏆

The journey to this tournament was nothing short of extraordinary. In an effort to preserve the B Division, we banded together, forming two Surge teams by uniting with incredible players from across the Southwest coast. Despite gaining new teammates, life circumstances challenged us at every turn, from roster changes to losing three key defenders to injury and illness just before the tournament.

Special shoutout to Amber Niland for an amazing assist 🏒🥅🚨!

The competition was fierce, with evenly matched teams, and the final game came down to the wire: Surge 2 vs. Surge 1 in a thrilling nail-biter to the buzzer.

Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible. What an unforgettable weekend for the Surge family! 💙💪

What a weekend for the Surge! We wrapped up the tournament in Ellenton with our best record yet—2-1-1! Every game was a super close, packed with action and fun.
