Surge 2 Wins B Division Ellenton

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Surge 2 – B Division Champions of the FWHL Ellenton Tournament!

The journey to this tournament was nothing short of extraordinary. In an effort to preserve the B Division, we banded together, forming two Surge teams by uniting with incredible players from across the Southwest coast.

Despite gaining new teammates, life circumstances challenged us at every turn, from roster changes to losing three key defenders to injury and illness just before the tournament.

Special shoutout to Amber Niland for an amazing assist!

The competition was fierce, with evenly matched teams, and the final game came down to the wire: Surge 2 vs. Surge 1 in a thrilling nail-biter to the buzzer.
